ATTRACTIONS

Your local guide will take you (via the best and safest routes) to visit six of the most beautiful hidden waterfalls* in the Valle Maggia, each with its own distinctly unique characteristics.
All six are easy to access but are not that easy to find on your own. You will see them at the best time of day to get the best photos and, if you are lucky, to catch rainbows.

Along the way, you will discover beautiful old stone-house villages and get a glimpse into the valley's history and traditional way of life.

*every waterfall that you already know will be replaced by another that you don't, if you so choose.

ADVANTAGE OF THIS TOUR: You will not waste time following routes marked in Google that are very often dangerous and inaccessible. This takes the stress out of your visit, giving you more time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

DURATION

The guided tour will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on how much time you wish to spend at each waterfall! Bring your swimming gear in case you just can't resist the temptation to take a refreshing dive!

All waterfalls are located around 5 minutes from Maggia.

The Vallemaggia Waterfall Tour begins and ends in Maggia and can be customised to include a stop at a traditional "grotto" (inn) for refreshments.
